Do I own the website?
Yes. Your domain is registered in your name, and you can download a full copy of your site at any time. If you cancel the Care Plan, we hand over a full copy and help you move it to another host.
Can I keep my current domain and email?
Almost always. We point your existing domain at the new site and leave your email where it is. If a past designer holds your domain, we help you get it back.
I already have a site. Do we start over?
We start from what you have. Your current text, photos and reviews come with you, cleaned up and rewritten where they need it.
How long does it take?
Most Storefront sites launch two to three weeks after the site review. The biggest variable is how quickly we get your photos and notes.
Do you write the words, or do I?
We do. We talk with you, pull from your current site and reviews, and write in plain language. You approve every page before launch.
Can customers book a table or an appointment online?
Yes, at no extra cost. Restaurants get table reservations, and offices, salons and service businesses get appointments. You set the hours and how many you can take, and each booking comes with a calendar invite showing the name, phone, email, what it's for and any notes. It's optional: if you'd rather take bookings by phone, we leave it off.
Can I host the site somewhere else instead?
Yes. Skip the Care Plan and we hand over the finished site to put on any host you like. Online booking, the menu and price editor, and your client page run on our servers, so they stay with the Care Plan. If you need changes later, we quote them up front and bill by the hour.
